Saw joe today and he measured the springs, they have dropped at the back to 315 mm fronts only dropped to 335. Rear shock is showing signs of oil leak . So after a discussion we have decided to go with Bc coil over hope this is the right decision,time will tell.

I am concerned if we just put springs on again we ill end up in the same place again and with well worn shocks too. i want to do something that will use my money for the best long term result and keep the spend to a minimum. So if i put new springs they would be X amount plus fitting and geo -Total A £??? If shortly after new shocks required Total B £ ???? Will it need Geo again? Total would be then A +B Or do i bite the bullet and go coilover route which will be £???? plus fitting and Geo.Total C £????? I think the best option is to come over and let you have a look at the car and discuss what option would be best, and maybe try out your test car with the coilovers on! The first date that is good for me is 3rd Jan 2015, would you be available?

Hi Tony the springs were fitted 13.1.11. mileage was 21.5k now 45k the repair order No was R005165 if you keep a record, the printout does not have ride height info on it, so not sure what it was or should be. Must admit i did not realise the date was so far back. So i guess the question is is the ride height to low and if so what options are open to us?

Hi Tony i do not have paperwork to hand but roughly between15 to 20 k but thats a guess right now.

Good morning, two years ago i persuaded the wife to let me put the wim lowering springs and have the geo done on the car. What a great improvement this was, although recently we seem to be grounding out over speed bumps etc more and more. i did a quick look at the ride height and it measures at 335mm front and 330mm rear. two things come to mind the springs are now smaller due to wear or the shocks. So the question i have is where do i go now with this issue? she is not happy with it grounding out and neither am i as it is damaging the cross brace.
