I wish! I work for someone else, but I have been doing wheel alignment in Bolton Lancs for about 10 years, and I am still learning!

I find usually that the model code will be on the gas struts of the boot lid for most BMW models. Bonnet struts fit more ie saloon, coupe, estate and will be marked with all 3 variants, but boot ones seem unique. Lettering is large as well!

You saw this today and i think you will agree the rear looks like it's "kneeling down"..... I only wish i knew why? We have had a couple of these where the shoulder that the adjuster butts against has been previously been damaged and the cam then rides over it and is not positively located. We welded small thick replacements and had no further problem.

Hi Can anyone recommend any good books on wheel alignment/ suspension geometry theory. I am interested in finding out the effects of caster, camber, toe changes and the effects on handling, also anti roll bar effects (ie thinner or thicker bars front and rear, and uprating or downrating each one)? Thanks in advance.
