I like the look of that and converts to a monopod.
Yeah its a lovely bit of kit
-
I still haven't really tried it out because i want to fully understand it first. Anyway last night i noticed a partial Moon so i thought i would give the zoom and target sight a test. Remember it's a partial Moon and i didn't have a tripod.
I'm pleased with the result and would expect much better with a full Moon and a tripod.
It's got a decent zoom on it that camera!
This is a really good tripod if you want one that will last you forever

Pioneer F60-DAB
7" Touchscreen
Full Sat-Nav
Bluetooth Handsfree
Apple CarPlay
DAB
DVD, CD,
Mp3 CD, DivX
SD Card
USB
HDMI input etc the spec list is enormous. The unit has now been superseded by the F-70DAB but I doubt there are many differences & of course the F-60DAB is now around £200 cheaper than I paid for it this time last summer
Thanks! Nice bit of kit that!
Eddie you should hear the bloody thing...... Crystal clear at all volumes and a real test of your pain threshold. I think i made it to volume level 4.
Would like to at some point!

I know I should be paying more attention, but which head unit have you installed?
-
I'm still discovering new things this Pioneer head unit does. I was giving a demo of the install to a guy last night & going thru all the functions etc With Apple Car play I can actually vocally tell the phone who in my contact list to call & it does it.
Even more impressive is when I told the Pioneer to send him a text message, I dictated the message & it sent, straight to his phone in his pocket in the passenger seat. I didn't know it could do that! It's pretty cool & a very impressive thing to do on a demo.
If anyone else in SE London/Kent border wants a listen just shout me up!
It's amazing what these new head units offer, the phone integration keeps getting better and better! Are those features easy to get to while going 70 down the motorway?

It was a full service Monday, then MOT, & now Car Tax before May 1st tho. Still at least it passed with zero advisories & it is running sweet
same for me at this time of year, glad it's running well!

Is there one I can use through bluetooth and then an android phone? never bought one of the above as they seemed complicated to use?
cheers

maybe I should be braver then, as soon as I see that light I just stop and stick some petrol in. Mind you these days I dont fill up that often I usually leave the tank half full unless its a long journey!
-
66.24 litres apparently, guess there must be a few litres left when I fill up, how much do you have left when the reserve light first goes on?
-
59 litres is the most I can put in when its on fumes
-
Yeah I know what you mean about the mpg, at 1.40 a litre its best part of £80 to fill and you only get 280 miles odd out of the tank

A lot of water has passed under the bridge in that time
Absolutely, we're all older and wiser too hopefully
Shows my car's getting on a bit too, was almost new when I first came down, coming up to 11 years old now
Yes indeed, mine is 10 years old this month. Great build quality and a lovely car to drive, thats why I never changed it all these years
Im certainly older, not sure about wiser, hopefully a bit wiser!
-
Could it be a faulty ABS sensor thinking the wheels aren't spinning at the same speed even though they are?
Good point, I'll get the garage to check it out when the car goes in for a service
-
Was going to say, its nearly 9 years since you did the first Geometry on her, down Watford Lower High Street! Can't believe how time flies
-
Well I need to do 10 year service, MOT Cam belt change etc. I will book her in after that, going to be an expensive month......

Hi Tony, not sure when I last got my geo done, I think it was last year. Question: how often should it be done, annually or is every two years ok?
The Lexus is driving ok but I have a problem, I get my antiskid coming on almost every time I pull away now, looked at the rear tyres and they seem fine, plenty of tread on them, so slightly confused?
-
I have just been charged £60 to find a fault code on my other halfs Toytota RAV and have figured out it must have taken the toyota garage seconds with their fault code equipment.
Was wondering how to do this myself and found this on ebay.
couple of questions: do these work and how difficult are they to use? or can I get something that i can use on a laptop, ie some sort of dongle and lead??
anyone else do their own, seems to be worth it as it could save some serious money
cheers

i like the swaying veriety youve posted up, out of curiosity are they all "tweeked" as to my eye they all seem to have something about them.
and the last post, the panaramic beach shot, i love how it feels somewhat old, like thumbing through a box of photos
yeah they are all messed about with in photoshop, all a few years old now
I love the car ones...the Lexus looks like a HDR to me?Not so keen on the processing of the swan although the composition is nice and the green bit (a leaf?) is abit distracting to my eye.
not HDR, just messed about with in photoshop, playing about with levels and curves exaggerated the shine in the paintwork,
the swan was turned into mono, all except for the leaf, I suppose it is a bit distracting come to think of it....
Love the Lexus picture, it looks wet.cheers

Its a beauty isnt it? lovely motor! love the brushes for the headlights as well, nice touch.
