I know when i had my Lexus IS that the coilpacks used to go in pairs as a rule.....im guessing the ignition system will always find the next weakest one.?
-
SIMPLY STUNNING.!
-
Not to bad price wise then seeing as its for a Nissan GTR and last for approx 10K....How much are the OEM Dunlop runflats.? about the same price.?
Wonder how much servicing is and how many miles.?
-
1 coat or 2....

How much are a cheap pair of winter tyres Tony for 175/65/14 .?
-
Ive just put my winter wheels back on ( "14" steelies with Vredstein tyres ) and the tyre noise is so different to the summer tyres( "15" alloys with Avon tyres ) the winter tyres are sooooo noisy and the steering input is a little slow and delayed ( but still really grippy )...just not as responsive as the summer avon`s......but id rather have better grip in the cold/snow/slush conditions any day...
Best way to cancel the noise out is to turn the stereo up.!!!

What a tool... :bananapopcorn:

So in other words what you are saying is that run-flats are pants as they cant adopt BMW`s geo positions.? would it resolve the inner tyre wear if the tyres were NON run-flats.? so letting the tyre wall compress.? to allow for the geo positions.? :bananapopcorn:

Sounds like a massey ferguson....... :bananapopcorn:

Yes mate sad pic indeed...
Did anyone watch.."Dispatches"" Street kids "program on monday night.? That was a sad program to watch, some of the kids where homless because of abuse @home,and didnt get on with there parents or mums new boyfriend....i think most of them where about 15/16...
One girl up in edinburgh left home @ 12 because her mum was always drinking and on drugs and was really violent with the girl....now the kid is 16 and has been abused by men and is addicted to heroin because she got caught with the wrong crowd on the streets...
Sad indeed...makes you appreciate things a bit more when you see things like that..

What did you think of the Vred's Daz, did you feel they improved braking and traction? Were they the Quatrac 2?
I've been looking at them for the winter as if I keep the car I can use them in the summer as well, if not I'll sell them on and buy another set of steelies to sell with the car.
The tyres were the quatrac 2mate..and found them fairly good in the snow when driving braking etc....very noisy though but think most winter or all season tyres are like that anyway...
I think the thing that helped me in the snow the most was the fact the tyres where very skinny in width so helped cut through the snow better....( 175/65/14 )

Whats the matter with that tyre..??? A bit of gaffer tape it would be good as new.!!

I when i brought my car last year i had steel "14" rims on my car with "Vredstein all season tyres" fitted to the car, during the winter we had last year the tyres performed really well in the cold and snowy conditions...( just very noisy though )
so this year i brought some OEM "15" alloys with summer tyres on them purley for the summer months.....so i will swap back to my steel wheels soon for the cold winter months
My question is are " all season tyres" just as good as "winter tyres" ..?
