Even when i HATED working for Royal mail i still had upmost respect for peoples letters and packets...The end of the day i was still a customer when i was working there and wouldnt want my stuff treaed like that.......t

What advise would you give for anyone driving in the snow in a car with a automatic gearbox.???
Its my first time and dont want to ruin the clutch or the gearbox....It does have a small button which is for the snow but next to useless i guess..
P.s its not the corsa in my avatar...its a Vauxhall Vectra Yreg 2001

How can budgets be £85 and Avons £90?!
because they are! i dont decide how much there going to be i just give you the prices!
Obviously, but £5 difference per tyre between a budget and a premium tyre isn't much, I would've thought the Avon's would be over £100 at least. Bet they're not that cheap in my size!
What size tyres are you after Rich..?
Are they for the Toyota..?

Ive seen these Hankook winter tyres... (Hankook I*cept RS W442 ) meant to be good by all accounts.

Those have less than 3mm of usable tread before they become illegal, besides which they're not going to be as useful in the snow as brand new. For another £100 you could have brand new tyres (Avon Ice Touring for example) delivered. and be sure that they're going to be up to the job.
I've used Avons for the past 2 winters and they're excellent.
Ive seen the Avon ice touring they seem to get a good write up and cost £67 each tyre deliverd.

When i came back from my new girlfriends house monday morning there was a white Mclaren MP4-12c two cars infront of me on the M25 about 3 miles from the M11 junction going northbound..It was about 10am when it came past me..i wonder if it was the same car..???

well i wish everyone from the WIM community a very happy new year.!!!!
Ive just came back from the Norfolk Broads ( Faulkenham/Hindringham) to be precise,Me and my girfriend rented out a nice cottage there with an open fire..Must say a bottle or 2 of wine was consumed and had a lovely time.!
