  1. Yes mate if you could leave them there im only round the corner from WIM...that would be really good to see in the flesh :D if thats ok?

They are superb mate.... Perfectly smooth and not a spec of dust in the powder coat.

May well be another purchase. :)

  2. Forgive my ignorance, but I'm not sure what the difference is! <_<

Basically this is what one of my alloys looks like at the moment, I took it up to BJV Engineering in Herts who said that was repairable but I wouldn't mind a second opinion:

Same problem as me Parthiban..! must be those styling kit alloys had no end of trouble with mine.!

  3. Hi Tony......well you know about the tramlining ive had...... since i last left WIM and haveing put Wozza`s tyres on ( thanx Wozza ) my steering has now centred up lovely ( very odd ) <_< and i only have a tiny bit of tramlining which im more than happy to put up with considering the state of the public highways these days.. :)

OFF TOPIC....still need to see lexus about power steering pump/belt sqweeling.. <_<

  4. Glad the BOSS machine is up and running was very impressed when i last saw it and also the wheel balancing machine looks the buisness.

Oh got the decals on the car.. :P

Sweet.... Thanks for that Darren

No probs Tony anything to get you some public attention...do you have any of the small ones with the blue WIM writing on them? like the ones on monster mats lex.?

  5. There is a form of lubricant...... well subject to a tear in the rubber boot...... Why do you ask <_<

remember me saying about that knocking noise that i had from the drivers front area ( i believe all along you said to me it was my ARB drop link ) and lexus replaced the top suspension mount well when i was looking for problems to the suspension because of my steering being funny trammling etc.. ( in previous post ) well when i was looking i could see some form of lubricant/grease coming from the drop link rubber boot..so im kinda guessing that is why its ( knocking slightly on that side still ) so guess i will have to get a new drop link for it?

Don't buy one until it's been tested.... If your around next week pop in and we will have a look :)

ok thanx tony appreciate it...would wednesday be ok after 2.00pm or any other day after 2.00pm :)

Yep that's fine... Head for as near to 2 as poss.

yeah ok tony will do.... thanx again. :)

  8. As you know small changes in tyre pressure and/or Toe will affect the tram-lining... Although i'm surprised it's the same after moving the wheels.

The noise maybe a bearing, you did hit that pot-hole hard last year.... Anyway if your over my way next week i'll have a look and put it on the new Geo.

Yeah i know Tony its really weird..my pressure on my tyres are 35psi all round... whats best to drop them a bit?

How would you tell its a wheel bearing? ive jacked the car on all corners and grabbed the wheels and moved them about but dont seem to be any play in them....im not a very good car mechanic my dad and brother are the ones when it comes to that..( but dont see them )

  9. Glad to hear things are moving along at a fast pace now Tony.... :D will pop down 1day next week to have another look from when i last looked at WIM centre if thats ok with you. :D

Yep that's fine just let me know when....

Ok Tony be good to see it again will pm you before i do. :D ...also got weird problem with car ( have put a post up ) :thumbsup_anim:

  10. Hi people.! well ive got an IS200 sport with "18" alloys....( Tony knows the car well )

well the problem i have is couple of months ago had 1 new tyre fitted ( pirrelli pzero rosso ) had this as the new one in the boot was the same..so both matched....( have these on the front, both brand new ) and i have Nexen N3000 ( fitted to the rear, about 2-3mm left )

Well the problem i have got is that i am getting really bad tramlining and the car is handleing like a pig..( doesnt feel sure footed at all ) its peeing me of something rotten..as i said Tony knows the car well as hes the person i only trust with doing my Geo ( with all the Lexus settings being wrong )( and bad inside tyre wear)..and have hit no potholes at all and hit no kerbs and the tyres are fine.

ive swapped the tyres over ( both front ones on the rear and vise versa ) and still no difference. :D could it be that 2 tyres are directional tyres and 2 tyres are symetrical ? is that the problem? the wheel is straight and the car drives straight and true but just grabs the steering really badly

im also getting a weard sound from the tyres OR somewhere on the car ( cant locate the sound area) when cold like 1 of the tyres is punctured kind of sound a very low sounding thump, thump, thump etc but seems ok when been driven and warmed up. :D ive checked all the suspension and wheels and steering.. rear diff etc but it still does it...

Hope someone maybe might know what the problem is? Tony ? :thumbsup_anim:
