Tony Are there any problems with the IS 220d with regards to the Geometry? I am taking delivery to one next week with all tyres being new i am debating whether to get the geometry done? I am based in Liverpool. Thanks Andrew

i have a lexus Is 200 i have had the geometry done in the past at TDI in Warrington ( http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/forum/ind...amp;hl=sootylfc ) I was looking at replace the back two tyres soon so was looking at them and they seem pretty find regarding inner wear However the front tyres seem very bad on the inner tyre wear. Any suggestions of this problem? Andrew

This is very odd... Sorry sootylfc. Can you pm me your details name/ date when the Geometry was done and your registration number.... And i will personally see where the error has been. done

i have given them 2 weeks to get back to me but they havnt i asked them for a print out they said they provide print outs so asked them to email me the results they said fine. After two reminders they still havnt done it So i can not tell you what they have done

i got the wheel alignement done at tyrecare and they said the wheel alignement was fine and didnt need changing The Car is Lexus IS 200 W Reg 2000 Reads like is was basic laser alignment... You need a full Geometry and the wim positions (not Lexus) to stop the tyre wear and probably the pulling problem.... They are part of the wim community and able to correct the chassis without intervention from wim..... A recommendation from me is a "fire and forget" situation since i have 100% confidence you will be dealt with in the wim-way. right then tony tomorrow i am going to phone them up and get it booked in ASAP will keep ya updated Andrew Your in good hands.. Mention the wim link. This will open a communication corridor between TDI north and wim. Although to date this has never been needed. Recently i had my front two tyres replaced mainly due to Inner tyre wear But before i had them replaced i had excessive shaking when slowing down and accelerating around 50mph I thougt the tyre change my solve this so had tyres replaced all wheels re - balanced and wheels realined This has reduced the shaking a bit but however it still happens, the car also pulls to the left too a bit. What things can i do. Was thinking of going to get brakes checked and while they was doing this as them to check the calipars? Anything else Would this have anything to do with the Geometry? i am thinking of taking it too this place http://www.4wheelalignment.co.uk/ what shall i do when attending any advice
