  1. It's been utterly depressing with the other issues as well, but on the up now
  2. Doors have to come off to run the speaker cables, MDF custom speaker spacers need fabrication etc, head unit needs fitting & final few cables run etc. am hoping 2 days will sort it. As for the car, very happy with it. The rear sits nice with the install in but the front could do with an inch drop on uprated springs.
  3. None bud, I've had nothing but 2 months of zero progress frustrations caused not on my part, hopefully fully back on track next week tho!
  4. ICE install re-starts next Thursday. Can I get a "Hell Yeah"?
  5. They are just a tad brighter than the OEM Honda ones, and deffo Silver not white. Another plus is although they look like a smart standard wheel, I probably won't ever see another 7th Gen Accord wearing them. Here is a pic at 4am after work.
  6. So finally got the wheels on the car. Gave them a good spray of sealant first too, hope it does the job to keep em looking nice at least for a while..... Anyway here is some pics Arty Old Vs New No issues with the tyre fitment in the rim, & they are a size fitted to other Honda 17" rims on this car so all good
  7. "*Please note that we do not hold stock at these premises."
  8. So what product can I use (avail at Hellfrauds or most motor factors etc) that's not too expensive, but also fast to apply BEFORE the wheels go on?
  9. I was thinking a good coating with Pledge or Mr Sheen inside & out will be a good move. They already have new rubber fitted, so a generous spray & wipe over before they go on the car will help. @Rich the cost was £230 (inc centre caps) which is around £100 cheaper than Lepsons wanted. The Decals were just £3 from eBay.
  10. I will be collecting my alloys in the next day or two. Here is an eBay picture of an unused spare rime in pristine condition vs my refurbed ones or & here is a reminder of how bad they really were They are old wheels but have come up pretty well for the price I am paying. More photos of them on the car soon
  11. So my guesstimate for my car of 34psiF 35psiR is pretty close then. I will prob start at 34/35psi & if I'm not happy try the 33/34psi combo
  12. A question for Adam & Rich, running 17's on the Accord, what tyre pressures would you recommend? I will need to up the pressure on the rear by 1 or 2psi due to weighty ICE install over standard 17's I'd guess. I'm thinking possibly 34/35 front & rear?
  13. Gord you really need to update that signature strip bud, it's like 5 years and at least 4-5 cars out of date
  14. That was why I thought "win win" but obviously some feel it won't work. Time will tell I guess. I should have them back by Tuesday latest.
  15. The deal worked out cheaper than any of the companies I contacted bar one in Canvey Island
  16. If not I will have no issues popping back, he's only 12-13 miles away
  17. The guy doing the work comes highly recommended from people who have had their wheels refurbed by him , he has told me this is what is being done. I have only paid a deposit ATM & if I'm not happy then he will have to sort it out if his own pocket. Simples.
  18. You do if the colour of the powder coat isn't exactly what you want....
  19. They are powder coated. I think The finish colour needs to be a lighter more OEM bright Silver, then lacquer over the top.
