I've always used distilled water for coolent, saves all that crud in normal tap water going through the engine and scaling up.

He said a little more camber will improve the handling of the car in the twisties and due to this the toe needs to increase otherwise tyre wear will be bad.
Overall impressions - Very good, he spent time showing me and telling me what each adjustment would do on the road, free coffee and they also fitted that replacement alignment bolt - as the old one had a loose fixed eliptical washer
Cost - the total cost was £89.00 this is broken down as:
£50.22 computer front and rear toe
£12.77 each for 2x camber adjustments
£13.26 VAT

When my father was a MOT'er he used to fail the BarryBoys (see www.barryboys.co.uk ) for anything he could legally fail them on - he hated them...

Right, this has been puzzling me...
On my car, Tony adjusted the toe to be about 1.1mm in all round.
what would be the result in driving/tyre wear if this was different?
ie, like this
front toe
left = 0
right = 0
rear toe
left = 0
right = 0
and what would be the result of this
front toe
left = 0
right = 0
rear toe
left = 1mm
right = 1mm
all other settings standard (if thats possible)
and another couple...
what effects would changes in camber have?
&
what effects would changes in caster have?
(probably explained in a lovely technical manner elsewhere, but this is not technical, I would like answers like "if the toe on the fronts was 0, but 1mm on the back the car would do this...... and the tyre wear would be........)

I had a bit of fun last year going into my work carpark - it was all muddy and wet and as I enter the carpark I have to do a right turn, I must have had a bit too much power down and made a massive slide/drift - it was caught on our entry cctv cameras and later the Safety guy made a big point about showing people and telling tham that was how to NOT drive in the works car park!
oops
but my, was it fun

I used to run some Nexen 3000's on my mx5, and they were suprisingly good, but the best ones are the Goodyear Eagle F1's (GSD3's) but for value for money, I'd say the nexens are good, as they lasted well and in my opinion were a lot better than the mazda fitted bridgestones...
