  1. Thanks for the fast reply Tony, I live on the south coast, would it be safe to drive to you in Chesham about 100+ miles?
  2. I checked the rear tyres on my Is200 as I knew they were getting low and was horrified on what I found with the NSR. See photo. http://www.flickr.com/photos/98504345@N06/9219561409/ As you can see the inside edge (corner of tread and sidewall) is extremely worn so I assume there is a problem somewhere. Can anyone suggest what it could be and is it safe to drive? I have obviously changed the wheel with the spare. Thanks in advance.
  3. Tony is correct on that one as I found out to my cost last month! In my view it wouldn't do any harm to replace the O rings with every tyre change to save problems later. h That would be labor intensive to be honest and some customers might think their being done over...... I agree though that the seals should be changed. Another stupid question. Where are the seals? would the valve need to be unbolted to replace them or are they on the removeable inner valve? Cheers
  4. This may be a stupid question but here goes anyway. Do metal bolt in tyre valves need to be replaced when replacing tyres? Cheers
  5. Thanks for your help Tony, I may take you up on your offer if I do not get anywhere with them.
  6. Thanks for the replies, I will see what they say but I wont hold my breath.
  7. Tony Is this dangerous then? Are there any oher options aprt from replacing the tyres?
  8. Hi Tony I am not sure where to find the pattern code, this is what I have on the tyre size 215 45 R17 87W also E050EZ. Any of these any good?
  9. Hi I had my rear tyres replaced on my IS200 it originally had Potenza REO 40's these were replaced with same sized Potenza REO 50's. Since then the car reacts to any deviation in the road. On a smooth road it is fine but is quite noticable on the motorways when you get the grooves that lorries wear into the tarmac where it moves left or right (Tramlining?) which can be quite disconcerting. It also does this on other roads where the surface is poor. Nothing else has changed and was noticed soon after fitting, I have done about 1500 on them. Any advice would be welcome. Dudley
