  1. Looks like I'll be heading to Langs then:)
  2. Ok Thanks. I'll look into the EZ Cams. Can they be used on the EK9 Type are though or are they only for newer shape civics i.e. ep and fn? Just to clarify, are Drury back on track now? This civic actually belongs to a good friend of mine: http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/forum/ind...13&hl=drury So was slightly hesitant of going there. But if you recommend them, I'll give them a shot
  3. Hi guys, Apologies if this is the wrong section to post in. Its been a while since I posted on here. I'm wondering if anyone can help. I had a set of fully adjustable coilovers fitted to my type r a few weeks back. Initially when I fitted them the alignment seemed fine (the steering wheel sat straight but I'm guessing the alignment was slightly out). However since I have raised the ride height, the car now pulls to the right and the inside of my tyres have worn pretty badly:( I was just wondering if anyone could suggest a reputable place within the North West, preferbly close to Manchester where I can could the alignment corrected? My initial thoughts were Drury Lane as I have been there before. However after reading other posts on here, I'm inclined to go elsewhere. Many of the honda enthusiasts highly recommend these guys: http://www.grinspeed.co.uk/ And I know people on this forum suggest: http://www.nigellangsgarage.co.uk/profile.htm What are your thoughts?? Thanks for any input:) ps - I'm still learning about geometry etc, but from what I've read, as I only have coilovers, and no camber or caster adjusters, I can only adjust the toe on my car? It was suggested to me that I should have the car setup with 0 toe all round to have a neutral feel on the road? Is this the case? Cheers
  4. lol. They've not been too bad to be honest. I'm running them with 0 preload at the mo. I had them on their hardest setting the other day, and that was pretty harsh. Thanks again for the info guys, i'll keep you posted
  5. Cool. I'll get on the case. A few of the guys on my forum suggest setting the rear slighly harder than the front. Something to do with oversteer I think they said??
  6. Hey guys Ive had a set of D2 Coilovers fitted to my car (ep82 Starlet Turbo) last week, and I had the tracking, camber castor etc set up today at Drury lane. I was just wondering if anybody could suggest any dampening settings for fast road use?. My coilovers are 36 way dampening adjustable. At the moment, I'm running plus 18 clicks on the front and rear = 3 full rotations from the softest setting. Thanks for any info.
  7. Udate: I just got off the phone to Drury lane, and the cars booked in for tomorrow morning. They said its going to be £47 plus vat for the initial check then what ever needs adjusting from there. Fingers crossed its not too much on top (I'm a poor student lol). They said they need it for half a day, so I'll keep you posted and let you know how I get on. Thanks again Tony
  8. Thats great. I'll give them a call in the morning Thanks for that Tony. I'll keep you posted
  9. I had a set of Coilovers fitted to my car yesterday and now the camber and tracking is miles out (my steering wheel now sits at twenty toand the front wheels are at different angles ). I also need my panhard rod adjusting. This is sapposedly to correct the rear alignment of the car after lowering. (a must on any lowered starlet) I need to get this sorted asap, as the cars a pain to drive at the mo. Ive heard good things about Drury Lane, in Oldham. A friend of mine on this forum, Gee recommended them to me, but after he put up the print out of his settings on here, one of the gurus on the sight was'nt happy with something. I think it was the camber maybe? Can anyone suggest some fast road settings for my car atall and whether or not Drury Lane would carry out a good job on setting up my car? Thanks for any info
