  1. Ok thanks really appreciate your help , it's looking more likely it may have to go into Ford .
  2. Another thing I noticed driving the car tonight it just seems to suddenly pull to one side for no apparent reason.. front end feels floaty too 😬
  3. No nothing that I Have noticed, what could I have damaged to cause this ?
  4. Pretty sure they are fitted correctly.. but I will double check. I'm not sure what is causing it?
  5. Yes two Michelin PS4 brand new .. been out tonight and the front end is pulling both left n right ! I'm lost with this ! only thing I can think is maybe a wheel is slightly bent / out of balance... ? Going to have to swap wheels back to front and then see what it's like ...
  6. Ive uploaded how the car stands at the minute, click the first link. Thanks
  7. [url=http<a href='https://postimg.org/image/y62lqw3o3/' target='_blank'><img src='https://s21.postimg.org/y62lqw3o3/IMG_3620.jpg' border='0' alt='postimage'/></a>
  8. Well went back into my local garage this afternoon.. spoke about the alignment again... first one the blokes said positive toe is toe out .... good start ! 🙄 They then look up my car data on their computer.. and reckon for my car it should be +0.3mm .. they reckon this would of been the factory set up. 🤔
  9. Thanks , though I'm losing faith in most places. Not sure if it would be better going into Ford main dealer ..?
  10. That's what I thought and im no expert .. just joe blokes off the street . Looks like I may need to take it somewhere else , though most place's seem to think I'm talking rubbish and they know better . Why can't they do as I ask or understand.
  11. Yeah it's pot luck out there when it comes to alignment!!! Shame your so far away from me .. Front wheels swapped over this morning.. not driven the car enough yet to tell any difference. Spoke to my local garage about adjusting the toe and even the bloke in their was unsure about toe out / in and how it effects the front wheels when under load !! I was assuming that if I adjust the toe by same amount but negative (0.6mm) this would be fine and not effect anything else ? Bloke in the garage was saying it depends on the camber of the wheels ? 🙄 ...
  12. Cheers , yeah that makes sense. Really surprises me the amount of tyre/ wheel alignment center's that don't have a clue ... I will get the car on a ramp and dail in negative 0.6mm should help with turn in and general feel.
  13. So if run 0.6mm negative both sides (toe out) I should have total - 1.2mm negative. In which case the front wheels will pull themselfs in resulting in a more middle position.. correct ?
  14. That's what I thought... so why was the garage telling me it's ok and within factory spec... ? Not sure where to go from here... can I adjust the toe to negative and if so how much? Cheers
  15. Yes I agree .. which is why I still think it's odd can't understand why they would be this noisy.. Just to clarify when I posted my front toe figures it may have looked like it was negative when in fact it was wasn't ... not sure if this makes a difference. 0.6mm Left 0.6mm right Total 1.2mm I assume this is still ok and within spec .. to be fair the car tracks straight on the motorway .
  16. Pretty much thought that ... these tyres maybe going on the back.... great grip but not sure I can live with the noise. Going to swap the fronts first like you said will report back Thanks
  17. Never really thought about it .. but yes I think they got louder/ difference tone with more pressure..
  18. Another thing that Ive noticed is these tyres are noisy... A lot louder then the budgets they replaced. I'm slightly disappointed by the noise levels to be honest.
  19. Ok will do this thanks for advice .
  20. Yes their is SAI angles which are the following Left 14.39' Right 14.47'
  21. Been out driving today.. on the motorway car seemed fine ...? Around town it seems to pull around a bit and tramlines more then before ... I'm starting to think it might just be down to new/ different tyres.
  22. Lower wishbone bush as not be checked their is no noise and car has only covered 19k , unless it got damaged when hitting the pot hole. ... ?
