  1. Ok, thanks Tony. The rims are 15"x6" front and 15"x7" rear i believe for a '95 model.

If you could list some models and sizes with the price i'll discuss the options with my Uncle then get them fitted locally when they and some rims have arrived.

That's fine, will you be using one of our centres?

No, there are none nearby, so i'll use my usual mechanic probably.

Providing we have a business addy we should be fine.

Ok, if we can arrange a deal i will check he is working that week and if agreeable will give his address.

  2. 1: can't get then in the 1991 tyre size

2: the car isn't a winter queen, so it's time to go to bed methinks.

Fair enough, make sure to run it regularly if its hidden away.

My 928 is covered in snow at the moment, lol.

Snow blanket keeps her out of the wind

Not ideal when the boot is leaking though, lol.

  5. I conclude the power to weight ratio, tyre coefficient and road temp is pants anything under 10 degrees, i can spin the rear tyres in fourth gear in the damp or on cold tyres..... scary sh%t to be honest.

Not putting winter tyres on Tony?
