  1. Tony, was just checking out the testimonials, and found this: This was my testimonial I left on the TT Forum having just sold my TT, and purchased the CLK which you worked on back in Feb 2009
  2. I went for the 320CDI, purely on the miles I do (approximately 30000 a year)!
  3. Hi Tony, not a problem at all regarding the post in your testimonials - parthiban, Now that WIM have sorted my vibration issues, the car is an absolute dream to drive! I did a 300 mile round trip to March (nr. Cambridge) on wednesday, was great fun tapping in on the torque to overtake over and over up the A414. Love the car, the look and now the feel too!
  4. I have recently purchased a Mercedes CLS and although under warranty from the main dealer, there were two problems I had which I wanted sorted before piling the miles on. 1 being uneven tyre wear and 2 a small vibration problem from the front of the car. My previous vehicle, a Mercedes CLK, had a very similar issue. The car had been everywhere, Pro-Tyre, Mercedes, Wheels VT (Merc Indi), but nobody was able to cure the issues. I was passed WIM's details by another member on mbclub.co.uk, so booked in to see Tony. Tony fixed my problems on the CLK first time, and the car was perfect throughout my ownership. So having learned from the past, I booked straight in to WIM to have the geometry checked and corrected, and 2 new tyres. Having had the work done by the guys in WIM, my pocket was a bit lighter and I had hoped all of my issues were cured. The alignment was pretty much spot on, although being a bit of a perfectionist, I noticed the steering wheel wasnt completely straight (well not to my eye) and that was quickly corrected by WIM a few days later. During the geometry stage, it was noticed 2 wheels on the nearside of the car had flat spots on the inner edge. This was the cause of the vibration. So a quick call to the supplying dealer, and 2 wheels were delivered for me to get fitted at a garage of my choice. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue, and the vibration still existed. Another inspection of the wheels again, found a 3rd wheel to have a very small, hardly noticeable dent, again on the inside edge. The guys at WIM tried everything possible to remove it, unfortunately the vibration still continued. Having exhausted every possible option, including a wheel repair, I decided to go back to the dealer to try and get another wheel from them. The arguement proved rather difficult, but luckily, the supplying salesman was around which helped me a lot. Having purchased 3 cars from the salesman this year, two being brand new for my parents, the salesman did everything he possibly could to resolve the issue. After all, my family have spent nearly £100k with him this year alone! He secured me a new wheel, and had it delivered to me within the hour. This has now resolved all of my issues and the car is a joy to drive! Basically, I know this is kinda long winded, but I would like to give a huge THANK YOU to everybody at WIM. I didnt catch everyones names, but Mick, Luke and all of the others were absolutely brilliant in putting up with my regular visits over the last 2 weeks and ensuring that I got to the bottom of the problem and I was entirely happy with everything that they have done for me. I will definitely use WIM again and continually reccommend them to anyone who requires nothing but the best when it comes to their pride and joy. I just hope I didnt drive anyone at WIM too mad with my constant visits to a point they wont let me back! Cheers Amit
