  1. Update. Got full refund today from tyre centre for the bad alignment, their other centre wasnt going to do a full geometry so decided not to have work done there, after speaking to Tony on phone i got some good advice on the best way to get this geometry issue sorted out. Thanks for your help Tony.
  2. Just off phone from tyre centre and they have booked it into their other branch on tuesday to set up the rear first then front so problem should be solved, i will post the results. thanks
  3. Thanks for the advise that im getting, in my post i mentioned i asked about the camber needing adjusted i think i should have said geometry ( new to this but starting to understand lol )thats what the tyre centre's other branch does, as they have the equipment according to my local tyre centre, but when i called them and explained the work that had been done on the rear as i thought something would prob be out, they where adamant that rear would not need doing and the local branch only had to do a 4wheel alignment( I seen no work being done on the rear of the car apart from hanging the laser equipment), what I'm learning from here and on the web that if the rear is out then the alignment of the front will never be correct and prob just chew up my new tyres. this is what i read on internet when somone had a similer problem I wasn't given a print out of the 4 wheel alignment, I'm not happy with the car pulling left and steering wheel offset as much as it is. would i have the right to demand my money back, so i could get the geometry done as that would probably rectify this instead of taking steer wheel off etc.
  4. Hi today i went to a national tyre and exhaust centre for new front tyres as they had badly worn on the inside, ( two days ago i had new rear springs fitted as one had broke, rear discs and pads replaced at same time work done by local garage) expensive week. when i asked tyre centre today if i needed the camber checked because of work that was done to the rear was told their other shop had the equipment (10 mls away) but they informed me that the Mondeo rear wheels were not track adjustable so they would replace the front tyres for me and a do four wheel alignment. I agread and they done the work. As soon as i drove out of their premises i noticed the car pulling to the left and the steering wheel was offset to the left by a few inches. I went straight back asked them to do it again, still no improvement so went back again a third time they told me i would need the ford dealer to remove steering wheel and reset cos of airbag etc as they have checked the alignment and its correct (Bull****). when i gave them the car the steering wheel was dead centre and i had no pulling to the left just worn tyres. I don't know much about alignment, camber etc so need some advise on best way to deal with this.(learned this evening that the rear wheels are track adjustable) thanks .
