  1. That looks like it might not be quite as bad as mine, but surely the theory of straightening it is the same? Not seen you in a while Scorps? I've always loved the F150 Lightening, nice choice, and I agree that at some point in your life you need to have a V8. But I've had a stint with my off road prepped Discovery V8, and it's time for that to make way for something new. It's been over a years since I have a charged IS, but not been on here to change my info, though thought I'd leave it now, as I will shortly be picking up M2 PJV, a car I believe you may be familiar with?
  2. Well they only weigh 8kg each, maybe that makes them softer? It was one hell of an impact! That is amazing news. The front is not fully true, but the most buckling is certainly on the back. There is corrosion and slight kerbing on this wheel and the other three, so would probably look at getting the set refurbed. They have done nearly 40k miles but I would love to use them on an IS200 I am about to purchase. You are a long way from me in Exeter, but I will try to visit you some time when I am up your way. In the meantime, I will try to take some better photos and email them to you, in the hope you will get a better idea of the problem, and ask about prices. Thanks Tony.
  3. I HAVE COPIED THIS POST FROM MY THREAD ON OJC, BUT AS YOU GUYS ARE THE RPOS WITH WHEELS I THOUGHT I WOULD CROSS-POST IT HERE, I HOPE YOU DON'T MIND. I have a nice set of wheels that I was hoping to use again. However one of them is... (trying to thing of a word that would be censored by the filter!)... uhm, let's just go with BENT! Despite many websites offing these for sale, in sets or as singles, it turns out none of them actually have them for sale, as they have been discontinued by the manufacturer, and everyone seems to be out of stock. If anyone can find one Rota Subzero Lightweight wheel in 18x7.5 and 5x114 fitment, any colour, I would be amazed, but also very grateful! I have seen others posting about having wheels straightened as part of a refurb, and seeing as I cannot source a replacement, I thought I would ask if anyone thinks I have any chance of ever getting this one straight again? This one really shows the extent of it...... I know, it's bad! But what do ya think?
  4. I've only just made the sidestep onto this WIM forum from LOC. Not heard of this project before. Looks amazing. Well done for hard work you have put in so far. Best of luck getting it finished. I look foward to seeing photos and dyno graphs of the finished beast.
  5. I know Stav on LOC has Supra Calipers on the front of his IS, if that helps! V8 Turbo IS. Wow. That is amazing. Whats the power out of that one then? How have I not seen this before! Is it a TDi job?
