Sweet,
I know you have worked very hard to get where you are now, you deserve to have these perks
BTW, were you a bit too excited when you took that last pic?
i think you could be right,,,, this pic does look a little shaky !!! think he should check his pants !!!
well done Tony. ... and remember me as your friend in your Will ok.... :D:D:D:D

and how many times have we seen this over the years Tony.. ???
it's shocking !!!
but whats even more scary, is the general public have little or no idea what to look for !!
there should be more education for new drivers regarding what to look for and general maintenance....

throwing them at the Mother-in-law, sounds a great idea!! mind you bricks might be cheaper!!
Cheers Pete
Do both!!.......that way you wont miss
I got those 3 pin ones and up to now they are fine but i know lots have broken 1 or even 2 pins......yikes!!
Airguns are their nemesis.
Mother-in -laws or wheel nuts?...lol
well you could throw the 'air gun' at the mother-in-law too !!!!
sounds like a plan...

Tony,
Any ideas on the torque settings for the locking wheel nuts on a 2003 vectra?, I know the others are at 110Nm, but have to say, I don't like the idea of torquing the locking ones up to that setting, somethings gonna shear I just know it!!
Cheers Pete
if you've a crappy 3 pin lock nut then i'd say change them... !
but if you've a spline type, then i'd say just torque them up to the manufacturers settings..
thats what i do with my Audi, it's 110 Nm...
I used to have the 3 pin type on me escort. Thanks to air guns on 2 of them the holes stretched and the key would no longer fit, resulting in me having to drill them both out damaging the alloys and the hubs!
I now have some mcgard lockers and do them up just under the recommended torque settings, not taking any chances!
i've just realised my lock nuts are Mcgard too !!!!
Well, what do you know.....

The screen shot below is from a car recently set by another company.... Once set not only did it drive pants but it also stuffed the tyres in a few hundred miles.
(Posted twice to enlarge)
As you can see every angle bar one was incorrect some of them dangerously.... Ironically one set every angle was perfect "bar one"....
I asked the owner why he excepted the car back in this condition, apparently he was told it was the cars fault since the adjusters were seized and a load of other crap..... As it turned out nothing was seized and one adjuster ran out of range.
Oh and he wasn't given the printout from the company..... what a surprise
well you have to give them credit for getting at least 1 correct !!!!!
Mmm i wonder if this one had been to "Crap Fit" ??????
