Well as I'll be in Canada I will have the winters on!
-
£400, seriously? Who are the underwriters of that?
-
Quite common nowadays to offer the same engine in different levels of tune - although agree that's very close so probably been detuned just enough to get it into a lower company car tax bracket or something.
-
Lovely car and another great colour choice, congratulations! Bet the drive back was a lot of fun
This is slowly turning into a Jag owners forum
-
Car looks stunning
Does that mean they now to the Blackvue 650 as a single channel version? Assuming that's cheaper than the 2CH I had to buy that's annoying
It's a good camera though, I've been really happy with mine, the wifi functions are really handy as well.

i think the Q7 is wider, but i think the GV is a little longer.
Yeah both rows go into the floor, which is just what i need at the moment as i got a load of stuff that i need to get out storage.
That's really surprising, shows how deceptive the looks can be.
And that is awesome if both rows go into the floor, didn't know they did that!
-
The Q7 and the Voyager are the same size on the outside? I would never have guessed that, the Q7 looks massive!
But yeah that makes perfect sense, as a family vehicle the Voyager is so much more practical - is that both the 2nd and 3rd rows that fold into the floor?
This is properly geeky but it's a nice touch that the window switches are exactly the same as you'd find in a far more expensive Mercedes
-
Your wife wanted a Q7 and you ended up with a Grand Voyager? You're going from one minicab to another
Seriously though I do like these, they do look like a really comfortable way to get around and in terms of actual space and practicality the 4x4s can't really compete with these.
May not be great to drive but when you're "wafting" in it I imagine there's not a lot that beats it - particularly when you get the wife to drive
-
Those are amazing pics - you're getting pretty good at the motion pics
-
Would your love extend to the asking price.
I don't know which normal model it compares to but the pricing is on par with roughly what I'd expect to pay for a good full frame DSLR.
So yes if I was in the market for a full frame camera, then this would be on my list
-
Not yet, I've mainly been dealing with them via email so I have a 'paper' trail but I'll ring them if I get no reply this week.
Good idea to do this but I generally call to get things moving quickly and send a follow up email after every call summarising what was discussed.
-
Sounds awesome! Yep I was really impressed when I tried one, in particular the power is unbelievable, most of all at the upper end it's relentless, just doesn't stop pulling hard!
That sounds very similar to the SV8 my brother bought a few years ago, was also a one owner car maintained at no expense and also had a new set of tyres put on despite him selling the car! The previous owner had swapped the SV8 for an XF-R, I wonder if it's the same owner
-
I love the way that looks!
-
The car looks absolutely beautiful, congratulations! Haven't actually seen those wheels on an XF-R before, are those an option?
I love the colour combo, exactly the way I'd have it if I had one - what's the supercharged beast under the bonnet like?
-
Wow they look amazing!
Nice work Rich, still ain't done mine !
Haha no surprises there
(only say it as I'm exactly the same!)
-
I'd get the dealer to sort it
-
Nice collection!
He did very well out of the privatisation of the Russian oil and gas industry - whether legitimate or not is up for discussion
-
But polish wouldn't remove a gel coat scratch would it?
T Cut is quite an aggressive cut so would try something a bit lighter first.
-
Why is there different T-cuts for metallic and base paints? To my knowledge they both have a clear gel coat and it's that that gets cut?
A lot of solid colours don't have a clear coat - that's the reason for the difference. I haven't used T-Cut in ages either, actually I have but it's to polish up the sink!
Maybe a heavy waxing of the bonnet so the cat slides off?
-
Stunning pictures!
Is the exhaust as low as it looks, does it catch on anything?
I was thinking the same thing
-
In very simple terms, different levels of compression - not sure on the technicalities of it though.
-
Looks awesome, next owner of that will be getting a cracker!
-
parthiban - My friend put it best when I took him for a spin - "what a machine!!!"
I can believe that - always been a fan of the earlier V10 M5 due to that engine but the F10 just seems to have moved the game on so much more!
-
Very nice! How's the M5?
Better get those winters on....
