  1. "Ping", oh don't worry sir, that was the machine, not the rim. Oh!
  2. They are 215/45/17's.
  3. No, my dad has a fitting machine at the garage. Normally about £20 elsewhere to fit. They are on trade prices.
  4. Okay, sounds good to me, at least my car isn't possessed!
  5. Before I installed the camber bolts i think it was +.1, when I installed the camber bolts I threw them in with no real thinking, so it's anyones guess. My tyres were low anyhow so it's not adverse wear.
  6. Tony, have you spoken to Broadway for prices?, they seem pretty good, and that's where most garages get them from. My 4 ZZ3's came it at about £240.
  7. Weird steering! Or with more elaboration, i've had a creek and squeek from my front suspension when steering slightly off centre, or slow steering manovers, or reversing whilst steering. I've had a proper geometory set-up (http://wheels-inmotion.co.uk/), awaiting fine tuning after a delay with DT getting me some camber bolts. In the meantime i have refurbed my front calipers, with new pistons and seals, and replaced the rear disks, and checked those pistons, so the brakes are all okay, and not sticking. My tyres are now quite low, esp inner front edges, and i have 4 new ones en-route ready for fitting with the fine tuning. Normally the car now drives straight with the steering wheel slightly turning left. If i go into a fast, tight, left corner, when i come out my car is straight, and the steering wheel straight. Then the car feels 'loose' and the steering wheel goes back to being slight left when the car is straight. Would replacing the front and rear drop-links solve this issue, or should i get someone at scoobyclinic/etc to check it out before i kill myself?? All suggestions welcome.
  8. Sounds like things are really moving on now, been reading it from the start, but only thought i'd post now. Must remember where the biscuits are kept!! Good luck, see you soon.
