  1. Jap Devil maybe you could advise me here.... next week i have two SW20 to set for track days. Neither owners have specific settings but both want the car to feel secure.. from the positions you now have is there any area that makes you or the car feel nervous. Your personal feed back would help me advise them since you drive a modified car and we have your Geo image already.

The handling is excellent! If anything needed to change I would say another 0.3-0.5 degree -ve camber on the rear and perhaps a slightly higher oversteer tendancy.

  2. I remember almost poohing my pants the time I took the Tubby out for a test drive - It was a cold November morning and there must have been some frost on the gound.

I was doing no more than 30mph on a rural Nothamptonshire lane and gave the throttle a boot to see how the turbo spooled up. Instantly the back end shot out to the left and I was heading for the hedge! I managed to steer into the slide and corrected but not before I was on the grass verge :o

Fortunately there was no contact with anything other than the grass, but it taught me to treat this powerful car with a bit more respect!

Do you feel to much power in truth is a bad thing..... i like you would go for the maximum possible but it makes you wonder when even experienced people like yourself can be bittern what would happen it it were one of the Max power boys on a 'cruse trip' :o

    Not at all!

300bhp from a car that doesn't weigh 1300Kg comes in very handy sometimes <_<

  4. I never suggested anything of the sort.

But I am familiar with a number of "motorsport" tuners where this problem does happen. The reason I mentioned Noble is that they appear to have a good record in returning customer's car to them with an intact engine.

  5. your = you`re <_<

I left my self open for you Bazza ....... ;)

    my self = myself ;)

    i like this game ;)

New sentence, therefore your "i" should be capital I.

    True, :D

In fact an I on its own should allways be an I and never an i :D

And take a further 100 lines for not using the spellcheck (allways). ;) :D

  6. It's going to be very difficult to get a picture of this - we only noticed it when the car was up on the ramp and we were able to inspect the wheels from below / inside.

I can try asking the guys a favour and see if they'll ramp the car up for me again to take a piccy.

  7. Have a look in the garage....I think it qualifies as being very low :)

Doesn't look to be that low, looks the same as mine when it was lowered so it seems a bit odd that yours is rubbing on 18's.

Hrmmmm........the car is slammed low (see the numbers on this post HOW LOW
