LOL last nights 'boy racer' car not only had the spacers but also the camber

Apparently a good 45deg helps you go fast round corners better

We watch it every week
They seem to use spacers like that on every car they do & I can't see how they can be safe and must put so much strain on (let alone the rest of the 'cut & shut' style of the cars) Every time they do a 'test drive' I wait for something to fall off or break

Plus it would give me someone to 'Roadster talk' with and convince you that you definately need to swap it for a Lex -
Just found this thread & it refers to me!!
I suggested these as tyres to learn on, especially with N/A MX5's being rather gutless. They are easy to slide around on & its much kinder to your car, you'll pick up the steering techniques far far quicer (In an MX5) Also they are cheap loads on Ebay going cheap. With these on your MX5 feels feels like a V8 monster (well sort of)
I would'nt suggest for one second to use them on anything but beginner level practice days.

The MK2 is for sale with a turbo janey and it has the potential to make 240bhp.
...then again I'm sitting on load of bhp and loads of torks so need to sell it...
Low cars are out of the question now....maybe able to get in, but theres no way I could get out
Your 5 is a beaut so hopefully it will sell quickly and at a good price Mabel has gone to Coventry so I've got a very nice 306 Rallye to play in now

That said, most SW20s run adjustable height coil overs as their fairly cheap.
Theres quite a few roadster owners who have had the same prob
although I think I'm one of the very few who admit to being a ninny -
LOL, I had a similar situation, changed the shocks & springs to what was supposed to be -30mm and the car ended up higher
(poss a lot to do with the fact that my model came with uprated bilsteins as standard which were obviously lower than stock) So ended up having to get -45mm springs (more £'s) to actually lower it

How much is DWYB? Santa pod isn't that far away from me and I've a few sets of rear tyres to finish off, would be a right laugh in the MR2 with the weight in the wrong place!

Doesn't suprise me
The Mk3's sit ridiculously high (they look like they have been jacked up) I'm suprised they manage to get round corners without tipping over
and surely a change in suspension height will 9.9/10 times put the geo out -

No I'm not taking the Lex No only on the fact that I have only ever driven it once but I haven't got those things you guys have so therefore I'm way too much of a wimp and would probably end up in the Armco Plus..... Its way nicer to sit in the passenger seat in the Zaf next to Barrie
for a 4/5 hour drive Plus.......Who would do the wobbly camera work if I was driving

LOL thats pretty quick! Nice white Advans also. Surely thats on track though, going out with the sole aim to destroy the tyres with high speed, big angle drifts, not on his Tesco's run.
Think that was just from 10mins 'P1' enclosure damage at Pod :graduated:
