Thanks Tony,I cannot put £1000 into the car its not worth much more than that.would the car benefit from a geometry setup alone? The shock and springs are sound just old.

Tony thanks for the prompt reply. The shocks on the car are old / standard, is there an option to replace the shocks, springs and do geo? I'm not planning to heavily modify the car, I don't need adjustable dampers just a reasonable, cost effective fast road setup.

I have a standard mx5 1.8 that I use at weekends and the occasional track day. I would like to lower the ride height a little and improve the handling. Are Gaz coilovers the only way to? How much do they cost, supply,fit, geometry?
