  1. Hi Tony

I'm fitting the ebay coilovers ( raceland ) i know there are cheap end of the market but they have had good reviews from MX5 owners who have fitted them, i only use my car on the road anyway, the question was will i have to have a geometry set up again it is about 2years since the last one, also someone mentioned that i might need to change the drop links. ??

We are having a techday at Super Tyres in Maldon Essex is this one you would recomend, to carry out work to your settings, i would be just as happy to come over to you and give you work, not that you need it.

    Regards Les Daniels.

  2. Nice feedback Steve, thanks for that. I feel we have hit the right rates now to coincide with the OEM dampers and i expect another 5mm drop as the coils except the load, this should conclude the 25/ 30 mm and maintain the level rake. Before anyone asks the reason they are black and not blue is to display these are part of the development coils.

    Hi Tony,

I had a full alignment carried out and toyo's fitted by yourself's about 2 years ago, i still have the standard shocks and spings fitted as far as i'm aware there is no problem with them i would just like it lowered and maybe it would improve handling, there are some cheap coilovers on ebay which a lot of MX5 owners have bought and had good reviews which i was considering myself, the other option is your Lowering Springs with my existing shocks what do you think????.

I guess i would need a full alignment again, so what would be the cost be for you to supply and fit your spings with an alignment to a MX5 Mk1 1.8 1997.

Sorry to go on a bit.

    Many Thanks Les Daniels.
