How can budgets be £85 and Avons £90?!

Are the Hankook winter tyres meant to be good then.? i need some big time when i get some money....my new girlfriend lives in soham 80 miles away.. would feel safer driving in the poor winter weather on winter tyres..
im guessing good winter tyres will be £90-£100 each corner for my car .? 195/65/15

Ive seen these Hankook winter tyres... (Hankook I*cept RS W442 ) meant to be good by all accounts.

Those have less than 3mm of usable tread before they become illegal, besides which they're not going to be as useful in the snow as brand new. For another £100 you could have brand new tyres (Avon Ice Touring for example) delivered. and be sure that they're going to be up to the job.
I've used Avons for the past 2 winters and they're excellent.
Ive seen the Avon ice touring they seem to get a good write up and cost £67 each tyre deliverd.

no its 4wd, its not illegal i'm very sure that audi would not sell a brand new car that was illegal come direct from the showroom,

thats one sexy motor. agreed with the tyre sizes... are very odd.. but i presume they have done it because of all the weight over those front wheels.
Shame they didnt do a twin oval exhaust (one each side of the car)
The tyres are different to make the car over steer more, but with increse in power hes going to change them to the same size all round. and dont worry more exhaust will come in the shape of a brand new miltek exhaust.

With the weather man saying the snows coming in the next couple of weeks the winter tyre orders are coming in thick and fast
loads avaible at the moment but won't be for long so if anyone is thinking of any or would just like a price drop us an email or give us a call.

jays audi Rs4 is out and been replaced with a brand new 330bhp audi rs3 (soon to be 400bhp). strage tyre sizes tho 235/35r19 on the front and 225/35r19 on the back wonder what an mot tester is going to make of that the first time they see one. theres alot going on behind them front wheels as well, at least hes got 4wd for the snow thats coming next week,lol

Pratical Performance Car. One of the contributors has that 27ltr SD1. Decent mag but their technical fetures usually have the odd mistake.

This wheel is on the rear of a late Fiesta driven by a young man who was well aware after hitting a kerb the wheel was damaged. The car was in the centre for other work when we flagged this "condition", explaining the danger the the tyre could depart at any moment, in fact i wasn't to keen taking pictures since the departure could be imminent.
We suggested fitting the spare but he wasn't keen because it wasn't the ST style wheel...... Needless to say he drove out of the centre on the wheel.
Be scared...... Be very scared.
think u was busy sorting some thing else tony but we did convince him to change the wheel for the spare in the end,
better to drive on a wheel that does not look the part rather than one that about to go bang!!!!!!!!
