Nice one Barrie. Good luck with the application mate

Tony - do you have the measurements for a Supra? 2 of my mates are looking to get theirs done soon but unfortunately are probably too low for your equipment
-
Looks very nice Shaun

Great project you're doing there mate. Well done

Both really lovely looking cars guys. Also loving the rear spoiler on the top one.
Can I ask though, what is the front bib thingy? As they both seem the same to me? :rolleyes_anim:

Tony you have too many pics of cats.. I think its becoming a fetish

Sing along........ A new years day.....

Nice one fellas

I think I'll leave it untill its mapped then I'll definately know if its working or not. It looks easy to change anyway, just plug and play

I've now got a link for one.
I'm not 100% sure its broke now though. When driving home from the garage this morning (oil and filter change) I thought the gauge had moved a few nothches. As I only drove around 10 or so miles and wasn't boosting but did get up to 70 + 10 mph didn't think the temps would be high anyway? What temp should it run at normally?
-
My EGT gauge has stopped working. It is an electronic Greddy one. It all lights up etc but doesn't give a reading. So must be the sensor? The sensor has been cleaned and put back in and there is also power there too. So I am in need of a new one.. Does anybody know where I can get hold of one? Or do I have to buy a whole new unit?
Thanks

Have a word with Mark. It was TDI that did mine. Mark said that they've done a few in the past.

I'm hoping for around the 400bhp mark with my IS. This is due to not knowing what the gearbox can actually take. There is some thought that 400bhp should be fine for the gearbox. As for cost... ALOT
Ah, that's not too bad then
I've got a thread going on the Lexus Owners Club. If you want to have a look what's been done so far. I'll put one up on here when I get time too.

I believe mine was welded

The car is now back in the body shop having a few scratches taken care of. I'm also still awaiting finding a decent place to finish off my 3" exhaust system. Then I'll be dropping it off again at TDI for mapping and some other minor issues plus a geometry set up.
Then it 'should' emerge as the fastest IS 200 with standard engine (other than uprated internals etc) in the UK if not Europe!!!
With the other projects going ahead... this will be a VERY interesting year

It is a very heavy responsibility and an honour to be entrusted with someones pride and joy. It's not to be taken lightly.
that way mate. Unfortunately not everybody feels that way, which is a shame because of the grief that can be caused when people don't respect the responsibility that they have been entrusted with
-
Unfortunately though Mark not everybody feels the same way. Quite a few garages I've used in the past certainly don't feel that way.
-
I agree that it is a must and should be done. Mine needs doing as I've not had it done again since I had coilovers fitted over a year ago. Now my steering wheel is slightly off centre which is strange considering its been off the road for the last 6 months.

thanks mate

come to think of it my car will be down at TDI again soon. Any chance of a Geom set up Mark?
Mark?
