Tony Posted July 19, 2018 Report Share Posted July 19, 2018 Yes they do... Most times the word off-set decides if a wheel will fit, will it miss the suspension and clear the brakes. Well there is another side to off-sets that belays the fitting. In the image below we can see an imaginary line drawn threw the pivotal points and then intersect just below ground. Combined with the wheels true vertical the angles generate the tyres scrub radius. A zero off-set should fall within the SAI ( Steering Axis Inclination ) The distance between A+B is the scrub radius. Incorrect off-sets can move the scrub radius either side of the pivotal points.
