djc
Before I fitted my new steelies with winter tyres to my Mondeo estate I had the geometry set up by STS Pro on a new Hunter machine. I was aware of a slight lateral buckle in both of my rear alloys. I pointed this out before I had the geometry set and the technician advised me that the machine takes this into account when it is calibrating the chassis during the 'roll forward' check when the car was rolled forward and then back (180 degrees). Is this the case that the machine can compensate for a buckled wheel or do I need near perfect wheels to obtain a proper geo set up?
