Not me..... my best price is £117.60 for the F1 fully fitted......... and that's undercutting BC.

On the TDI site it says that the tyre size for these wheels are 225/40R18

Image031__Small_.jpg

That's what I'm running mate ......... you can see them on Sunday ;)

The post on the first page you say you're running 235/35/18

Does it matter whether they are 235/35/18 or 225/40/18????

Sorry to seem thick... But is the first number the width and second the height?

1) Width

2) aspect ratio, ie width compared to depth

Cheers buddy

Ive just seen some toyo on ebay £75 each hmmm

I think I'll go 235/35 then. Bit more tyre incase a kerb jumps out at my wheels :o

But then at £75 each it'd be rude not to buy those ones off ebay

Anybody heard of Avon tyres? I think its avon. Some bloke was telling me that he had been reading up on tyres as he was after a set himself and said the Avon zzz 3 (something like that) came out tops on all polls....

The Avon has one of the wost records for customer complaints... in fact for many years STS stopped selling them since the complaint always is reflected toward the company that sold the product.

i had zz3's on my prelude,

215/45x17, i bought a set of four, 3 of them developed buldges in both sidewalls, i took them back to the supplier and they were sent back to avon, avon paid for 50% of the tyre as hey had half the life left in them, the news ones went the same way so i took them back again and avon said it was driver damage.

(kerbing the inner sidewall is a good trick eh?) so i personaly would say no to avons.
