Lancia Stratos

This model they only made 14 cars, 13 left hand drive and 1 right hand drive... These cars were well known for their dire handling despite their success in rallying...

One area with this build was the pedal box position being off-set. I've never found out why Lancia did this other than the position of the steering column being interference.

Awesome car :D

Did the lambo owner know about the wheel nuts? Why drive a car that expensive (or any car actually) when there is a risk of the wheels falling off!

This Porsche 911 belonged to Steve McQueen and accommodated his passion for racing. This 911 was at the most famous Porsche in existence but a mire shadow of the 917K which was used as a test car for Le Mans before becoming the star car in Steve McQueen's legendary racing movie Le Mans film.

The 917 sold for $14 million and is now the most expensive Porsche in existence. Needless to say we had his 911 in this week for a little wim attention.

Latest mission was to calibrate this Mustang... With just 500 miles on the clock the car came with extensive modifications. Our challenge was to get a known poor handling car to....Handle?

The car

As we can see the car has been lowered around 40mm. Looking at the coils it appears coil-bound which will work fine on droop but i don't want to bet on the life expectancy of the lower three helix?

It's a blessing these cars no longer have a live axel rather multi-link independent suspension which for us improves the handling tenfold but there's a downside that being access to the adjusters. The lower toe adjuster cam was no problem

But the upper camber is somewhere up there?

All done in the end
