BMW X5 owners

Typically the Geometry positions were transported from previous successful arrangements, but the wheels size/ body weight and Camber curve seems to have lacked some maths (unusual for BMW) If you own an X5 or know someone who does then get them to check the tyre wear then approach the Dealer ASAP!

The NSR now has the spare on since the original blew-out.... then under braking the OSR blew-out.

Before and after?

The positions displayed (exaggerated) by the smaller spare wheel, is the before. .. I measured the Geometry on this vehicle and is displayed a rear Camber of -4d, with an adjustment range of +- 1d 30'.... this was still very shy of the target position. Something has gone very wrong with the X5 since this is number three in one week all with the same problem. Still the tyres only cost £160 each and last about 5000 miles so no doubt BMW will suggest this is fair wear and tear :wub:
