Most of the panels are carbon fiber, in fact the bonnet had the weight of cardboard which i duly noticed whilst sneaking a peep at the powerhouse

Loved the ceramic brakes.... wonder how much they cost to replace?

post-2-1218829852.jpg.... About £15k a set?

Best part of all is that it's............

I had a drive in the retail park and for the life of me i couldn't stop it wheel spinning every time i pulled away.... Bugger driving that in the wet.

Tony you are a lucky man

Yeah i know.... :D .. Trust me i'm as surprised about this sort of thing as you!!!.... The car turned up, they said "what do you think" i said "rthgimgi mmbimi" (forgot how to speak) then they said "fancy a drive".. . what can i say?

Just to add adrenaline, today they also asked if wim would calibrate the chassis on their DB9 track car currently running in the GTR series, ready for the 24hr session at Silverstone in a few weeks :D

Sweet,

I know you have worked very hard to get where you are now, you deserve to have these perks

BTW, were you a bit too excited when you took that last pic?

Human or mechanical there's nothing better than "manual" :D

Cheers.... I'm not sure we are putting out the right message to the local community though?

I think being a new centre with all that fancy equipment is making grounds in conversation locally and sure it's great to have a line of top marques waiting to be served but i'm not pleased to be stereotyped in this fashion.... Example

Yesterday a customer in a Merc came in and said "i don't know if this is beneath you but i have a puncture".... What made him think a puncture was beneath us?

Do you see my point.

Maybe it's the cars on the adverts you've been using, they're all prestigious motors that joe average will never have the pleasure of owning...could be giving the impression you only cater for these type of cars and track cars, what with Mats monster being parked out the front B)

Why not do an open day for the locals to come and have a look around, ask questions etc...may help spread the word that you cater for everyone. Obviously don't do free geo's though! :o

Example

You just politely point out that technically the puncture is beneath him. Then smile and offer to sort it.

Used to get this a lot when I was in retail as our shop was a bit posh. You don't have to worry about the ones that approach anyway.... They key is to catch any people that get within range before they think twice.

Plan B is give the place the grunge look, don't wash the overalls and pile up bald tyres around the centre. I think I'd just stick with doing what you do the way you do it. That's my 2p anyway.

It's a bitter, sweet situation but not end of days nor somthing i expected such early doors...

Mr Fiesta is just as important to me as Mr Mercedes so i will monitor customer feedback..... So far according to the invoices the reason they used us was "recommendation", so this "elevated" impression must have come from that..... I think B)
