The difference in tyre sizes

I have bought some new Mazda Sport Alloys off eBay, they are 16" rims.

Now what's the difference between:

195/50/R16

and

205/45/R16

Which one do I get, I've noticed some sizes are harder come by than others.

I've been quoted £65+VAT fitted per corner for Toyo T1R's for 205/45/R16

Help!! ;)

The 50 aspect ratio has a rpm (revolutions per mile) of 602, the 45 aspect of 590, this falls well within the 5% guidelines... But the 205mm will need a 6.5 to 7.5 inch rim to accommodate.... Personally i feel the 195- 50 aspect would serve your car best ;)

Well Im into see you on Wednesday at about 4pm for the checkup.

I'll grab a quote on some F1's while Im there.

It will be interesting to see how the chassis has settled......195/50-15 F1's are £48 all inclusive each.

Its OK Dan, Tony is right, Im currently running Toyo T1R's on 15 inch alloys.

The 16 inch alloys are a project of mine, I need to get them refurbed first, but wanted to know where Im going with the tyres first that's all.

Thanks for all your help, see you tomorrow Tony (if you can make sure you call me a half hour before - my diary is so full of stuff I bound to forget something tomorrow)
