Thanks. Capturing them in flight definitely has more of an impact than photographing them sitting in the tree. 

It's surprising that redtail kites mainly eat dead food and don't take live birds. Even the magpies and crows chase after them which is funny to watch given the comparison in size between them.

I was watching the feeder yesterday when the rain started. The Goldfinches stayed for a while but soon  flew off.

The Bluetits got a real soaking, after which I found it really difficult to get anything sharp

Nicely captured :)

I really wish we had Goldfinches visit our feeders, I love their colours. We've been getting the usual tits, robins, starlings, sparrows, nuthatch, jay and other common birds. No woodpeckers yet and the redtail kites seem to have scared the parakeets away.
