Luki78
Last year I went to Tony's garage with my MX 5 for fast road settings after I fitted new lowered suspension. Now I also have old everyday car. I'm thinking of lowering it. Is that the same rule with old Vauxhall Astra Mk4 as with MX 5 ? When car is lowered the settings can't be "factory settings" ? And they have to be changed like in Mazda by measuring the high to the fender ?
Tony
Hi Luki Factory settings would de-adjust the modifications so your correct there... Key to development is adjustability. The Mk4 Astra is not designed to cater for this kind of modification so we're kind of landlocked. What adjusters are fitted or are we working with the OEM adjusters?. Tony
It only has limited OEM adjusters unlike the 5, nevertheless we should still be able to get a decent set-up... All the settings will be developed depending on where the rear camber angles rest.
