The boxes on top of her head are connected to the sensor arrays implanted in her brain. She is moving the robot arm by mind. Apparently she's now learnt the system well enough to not have to consciously think about it - it works on the same brain activity as moving a natural arm and it has a usable close approximation of the same range and fine control of movement.
