Steve-O
Alright tone Just wondering when the time comes to refurb my wheels whether you could give them a once over and make sure there are no nasties, and redo them with satin black centres and polished lips again? there are some almost unnoticeable grazes that have been wet sanded back but they still need a bit more work to totally disappear. They're in very good nick generally but its doesn't compare against a professional job How much would i be looking at per wheel to get them done roughly and what sort of timescales? Also whats your views on valves - i've got leaky screw in jobs which look a bit old that are getting swapped out this weekend (losing air from all 4!) - its it just easier all round if i stick to the basic jobbies? Are the screw in types generally more troublesome or have i just been unlucky? Cheers Steve
Tony
You have been unlucky with the valves...... Hard call on the wheels because it depends on the condition but i think you are looking at around £70+ per wheel.
Steve-O
Nice one. Ok we'll I'll be over soon for a checkup on the 5 and some bits so we can maybe talk about it then. Cheers

Steve-O
What a nightmare. Standard valves won't fit. I need some slightly narrower around 7.5mm dia on the stem that bolt in.. Have you seen this before tone? Bit of a loss what to do now!
Tony
Yeah, you have the very narrow Jap valves...... Your stuck with them then fella

Steve-O
I wouldn't dare try for fear of ruining the wheels, and I'm not sure I could just bowl into somewhere and ask for that? Would be nice if i could use regular valves though
