  1. Oops my bad on identification, but same solution they moved the plane Well done Geoff
  2. It's lucky he could pick LA International airport to land at with a long runway, so no air brakes and keep the nose up as long as possible
  3. Yep, but genuine it seems https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JetBlue_Flight_292 although it doesn't explain why the wheels broke / wore down. This is what happened:
  4. I use the Activity tab when I think I've lost one
  5. I'm using browser back button ( Chrome ). Just realised there is "Go to topic listing" below, but I never see that I carry on for a bit then switch to the one you and Geoff use Rich and try that.
  6. I have noticed it before but wasn't convinced I was thinking right. So I go into forum with this link //www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/forum/index.php?/discover/unread/ and it shows me a list of unread topics ( i.e. new posts to the topics ), I view them briefly but basically go down to the bottom one and read up the list. But what happens is one ( or maybe more ) disappear before I get there It just happened and the one that disappeared happened to be the first one in the list i.e. the latest. Anybody else spotted this?
  7. You can read it on the bottom of the badge
  8. So are the tyres nearly down to 1,5mm isn't that where the sipe is? If so I'd be changing them for rain / winter driving. Also, with their performance today ( or lack of it ) I'd also be changing them.
  9. Had a couple more just, don't no if it gives you a log so you can see what's going on? I closed browser, opened a new one and it's working OK
  10. Nice one Ray Tony will be along in a bit / tomorrow to tell you all about Xmas
  11. There is a box below last post in this topic saying "Reply to this topic" you type new post in there. No delete, but I guess you can edit, remove all the details in that post and for clarity put something like "*** delete by Ray **, then Rich may be along in a bit and remove them for you.
  12. Ray, you type into the box below the last post headed Reply, type what you want and you can answer multiple replies in this thread within one reply box. Then click "Submit Reply" wait about 5 seconds and as if like magic it's all done ..... no need to hit Submit twice or go back into thread and type it again It will then show you your reply back on your screen. Also, when you go into Forum, click on Activity, then click on Unread Content and it will list posts since you were last in the forum. And if you click on the little graphic immediately to the left of the thread title ..... usually a star or similar ..... it will take you to the first unread post on that thread.
  13. OK, I'll let you know if it happens again or regularly Rich
  14. Forgot to mention, a number of times I got the download of empty file index.php yesterday both going into forum and opening post.
  15. Ray I can confirm that Tony really did have said accident with a combine harvester and is currently at home responding to technical questions on here as well as posting on some of the "Fun" threads
  16. A lot of people do, especially some years back. Fag paper round the fuse in a plug, mains wire across fuses on the board. Think this is why modern fuse boxes have the trip function - can't easily be bypassed.
  17. That's what we have been doing for a while to answer some of your puzzles
  18. Right click on image and Search Google for image .... try it
  19. Should have done it the other way up
