  1. its China they will just reproduce another one for £100
  2. thank you I do believe that you have to look at the car and the driver, you can have a good driver and a not so good car, and you can have a good car and a not so good driver, strangely they can both produce the same results ! I have always thought that I had a good car, slowly the car is giving me the confidence to become a better driver the car has performed faultlessly the past year, no spins, no "off" moments and thankfully no breakdowns, not bad for a 16 year old car running over twice the power it was designed for
  3. well another year has quickly passed 2011 was another year with the Toyota Sprint Series the only improvement/enhancement was that the "Tart" now runs on racing fuel, allowing for less retardation and detonation, with a slight increase of power as well only downside is its about £4.50 per litre and the Tart runs about 3-5 mpg ! as the saying goes "dont fix what aint broke" results of the years racing as follows: round 1 : Rockingham 1st place in class B hard charger award overall 9th position round 2 : Woodbridge 1st place in class B overall 8th position round 3 : Barkston Heath 2nd place in class B overall 14th position round 4 : Cottesmore 1st place in class B overall 5th position round 5 : Croft 1st place in class B overall 8th position round 6 : Blyton 1st place in class B hard charger award overall 3rd place (behind Jonny Milner and Adrian Smith in their 800hp monsters) And on the complete series : overall 4th position so as you can see it was a fantastic season sadly this year I am only doing a few select rounds due to having to have an operation at some point
  4. no it will just eat the boat, did you not watch Jaws
  5. wow and i was concerned about the foxes in my garden
  6. silicones need to go on dry and remain dry whilst curing best stuff for damp conditions is "gold label pond sealant" you can even apply it underwater ! can you not get a new seal ? frosts do various replacement seals at reasonable cost, probably a lot cheaper than OEM
  7. i thought the BMW looked fairly secure, until i watched the video and saw it was being held by a fork lift thingy those firefighters are pretty brave the way they are clambering all over it , especially when you see the drop !!
  8. reads like there was a passenger involved as well he survived ! and passengers usually come worse off
  9. I like the one who throws his monitor, then sits back down and starts typing again
  10. in answer to your question Tony amazing what a google search reveals !
  11. they restrict parking !
  12. doesnt make it illegal
  13. why would you think it was illegally parked ! the driver may have been unloading or loading at the time or there may even be time restrictions lets hope the driver wasn't in it

  16. stick the remaining 8 back on ebay and get your money back !!
  17. I bet they are hard to balance !
  18. I dont think they are designed to collapse or fall over Why not? They must think about these things when designing tall buildings. If something was to happen that would weaken the structure of the building it makes sense to create it so it collapses causing minimal damage. Both towers fell straight down and I don't think that was a conincidence. It's abit like when they demolish buildings, they blow them up so they fall straight down. no, they design them to withstand any likelyhood of collapse, wether it is built in a tornado/hurricane or earthquake zone would you want to live or work in a building that was designed to collapse ! when they demolish buildings they work out the controlled collapse dependant on the type of construction tall buildings generally are brought down vertically, because of the consequences of if toppling into surrounding buildings smaller buildings where space permits will be toppled in all cases its a very scientific job working out the structural integrity and where the explosives are placed, to do the job the WTC was built to withstand airplane collision, but only to a certain size, they never believed a jet liner would ever crash into it I still find it suspicious the way the towers collapsed, the fact that they did indeed collapse, the fact that both towers collapsed the same way within a short timespan between, the fact that they collapsed the same way but were not damaged the same way, and the way it looked so much like a controlled collapse
  19. I dont think they are designed to collapse or fall over
  20. excellent news what makes them the "best" in your view and why do you think its at this time of the year over the years we always had good and bad months 5 years ago it was always quiet, late december and january, yet since, its been june and dec/jan have been very busy !
  21. a rock hard suspension is great on a perfectly smooth track sadly perfectly smooth tracks rarely exist and certainly not in this country on a rough or even slightly bumpy track it will cause lack of grip to the tyres as they bounce over any undulation by allowing damping to absorb the bumps it allows the tyres to keep in contact with the surface on a front wheel drive you also need to use the transfer of weight to give grip and prevent understeer, with little or no damping its going to drive like a pig
