  1. Probably won't for the website photo but the actual tyre you get should (hopefully).
  2. You know the coloured line you find on new tyres? It determines which side the tyre should be fitted to help prevent drifting...
  3. I've used camskill before, fast delivery but when you make the order ask them to match the outer line on the tyres cos they didn't with mine!
  4. Good point mate but wouldn't 215/40 be better?
  5. You convinced me to get 215/45 profile and you're looking at 205/40!!!
  6. Same problem I had then, that tramlining you refer to, I experienced that on the M25 doing 70mph, I can honestly say it was a brown trouser moment! But then one bolt had come undone by an inch or two You know the story with that bolt but as Tony said the others were smothered in locktite and I also bought 4 new bolts as they're only 6 quid I must check mine this week, been a while since I did...
  7. Welcome to WIM mate, nice to see another gold member
  8. Glad you weren't hurt These RFT worth getting then? Are they much more than normal tyres? Few years ago I had a blowout on the M11 in me escort, was doing a good 70 and the rear one went pop! No road lights or hard shoulder, I was bricking it but kept it straight and pulled over to change it. If it's worse going at the rear I take I did well to stop the car then?!
  9. Looking good Jamie Never noticed them nuts, I reckon it's the angle the photo was taken
  10. That happened with mine when I went back for the fine tune, I think the front O/S toe was out quite abit! Be interesting to know if it's changed anymore!
  11. Another problem with the gallery, I click the link and there's nothing in there! I can access my folders/photos from my albums but can't view everyone elses!
  12. I think it would be wiser to consider up-rating the anti-roll bars rather than add bracing. The actual bar itself? I've still got the poly bushes to put on so I'm hoping that will firm it up enough.
  13. I thought strut braces help prevent the car flexing when cornering hard, which I've had to do sometimes! The car feels fine when I've done this but I thought the brace would help some more... Thinking about it now I don't think a camber kit will benefit me for normal road use, unless I start getting uneven tyre wear caused from lowering the car. However, this doesn't seem to be the case at the moment as you said the wear I've got is down to the toe positions? Maybe I'm just trying to make the car something it's not!
  14. I would need an image of the current chassis positions and i would need to know your complaint/desire with the handling. I don't have any complaints...at the moment and it's not like it's a fast car or I use it on the track...
  15. So if I don't need one for tyre wear, would I notice much difference to the handling with this kit or would a strut brace be enough?
  16. Jammy, how much has yours been lowered by? Tony, do you think I really need some of these from the wear on me tyres you saw last week?
  17. Just seen the 350z on MEG and is that Mat's motor in the background? Don't think the photographer was looking at the cars though!! :whaa:
  18. Nice motor mate, I'd love a toy like that :whaa: Welcome to WIM as well
  19. Mate you need to stay alert in this game So it seems!
  20. Sounds good...tea and coffee on me doorstep Seriously though, it must take some guts to leave your 'comfort zone' and start a fresh, all the best mate
  21. I'll be there for me free coffee or tea Are you still hoping to be based around Hemel?
  22. Did you get any photos of that tasty scooby you were working on today? Did it have any issues that needed dealing with?
  23. This one reason why I reguarly take me wheels off to check them properly. Had cracked side walls before but nothing that bad!
