  1. Hi I took the plunge and went to WIM. It was a good 5 hour trek but hopefully worth it.I had the Eibach Pro 30 mm lowering springs fitted to my Mk3.5 Sport tech RC, along with the usual re alignment. The difference in handling is amazing. I can't thank Joe and the others enough for the great and speedy work they done. I am however having a few problems with grounding out on speed humps and roads with adverse cambers particularly when I've a passenger and extra weight on board. I'm taking the correct precautions when going over the humps. But I didn't think it would bottom out as much as what it does. Are there any other options other than expensive coil overs? (Which I assume would solve my problem because with these would increase my ride height) I'm not having a moan at wim, they done a great job and in fairness, I was told about coil overs at the time. It's only been a few days since I had them fitted, so it's early days yet. But I'm just worried about damaging my car, that's all. Any comments or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Cheers. :-)
  2. Thanks very much chaps. Do you have any idea of exactly what springs I would need for my hard top roadster coupe? Wouldn't want to get the wrong ones. If it's too problematic for my garage then I might have to pay wim a visit.unless there is anywhere more local to myself Thanks once again.
  3. Hi I've just this second joined the forum and I was hoping someone could help me with the following I've just recently bought a Mazda mx5, mk 3.5 2 litre RC on a 2009 plate. I'm hoping to improve the boat like handling somewhat by fitting the eibach 30 mm lowering springs.Ideally I would like to come to WIM to get the work done but as I live in mid Cornwall, it's a bit of a trek for me. Is is simply a case of just changing the standard springs for the eibach springs and then letting them settle for a couple of weeks and then getting the geo checked and adjusted? I take it no other parts are required and that the standard shocks will be fine? My local Mazda main dealer has quoted me over £600 to get this done! Ha ha! Not likely mate. So I'm probably just going to take it to my local garage who say can do all the work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
