  1. Hi all, was driving yesterday going round some roundabouts and sharp corners and heard a twanging noise (empty and full boot) from the rear springs both side seem to do it and was wondering if the top/strut mountings are on there way out or possibly the shock absorber lower bush, I have a strange knocking noise from the rear too which I can't find, the mechanic said there is a knocking noise but may or may not be related I got the trd springs and adjustable dampers so nothing to do with fitting lowering springs to standard dampers, just wondering if someone can shed some light. Its a 1999 Altezza gone 142000 km on the clock. cheers
  2. Hi Tony. The car is on springs as well just for extra information. Something I noticed as well today is my left back wheel is cambered quite a bit more than my back right wheel.
  3. Thanks Tony. The car has done 146 000 km
  4. Hie Tony. Iv a bit of a wobble coming from the back of my car (Altezza AS 200). its always kinda been there as i just thought the springs were crap and old which is why i wanna switch to coilovers but i thought id ask just in case. Anyway. When i hit bumps or tiny indents in the road the back of my car will kinda bounce and wobble and people tell me you can feel it in the back of the car. And lately when i hit bumps on the road the car will almost kinda slightly jerk me to the side of the bump on the road i hit and it will kind of wobble the car from left to right slightly! It just doesnt hold the road as well as it should. Iv lost confidence in driving it aswell. im always nervous around corners as it just doesnt fell right. Any ideas?
  5. What point wr they tryin to prove doin a drag race under such bad weather conditions....I wonder
  6. Waal, im loving this thread. Tony is the Master no doubt about that. WIM is the place to go, wish I was in the UK, but im glad you sort problems for people miles away like myself. Once again, you are the man Tony.
  7. Hahahaha, I wonder if she owns that car
  8. Thanks Tony, I got the culprit..Its the front left tyre which has a distortation. The tyre separated. I am going to buy a replacement today and have it fitted..Again, thanks a million times Tony, you simply the best. I now know the right place to get advice from whenever l face suspension related probs, you are the MASTER.
  9. Ok, I will have to check on the tyres again and change them side-to-side and do a test drive. Will get back to you with the result
  10. Yes, I will be in the left lane of the road Tony
  11. Sorry, got you wrong, we drive on the left hand side Tony..was absent mindend, thot u wr askin position of my steering..
  12. Thanks Tony, I will have to check on the tyres. But before I do that, below is the front camber/castor finish positions from the tracking. Left Hand - 00.17 Right Hand +00.20
