  1. Can we see the rear of the car with it fitted as it is.. Too much red may take away some of the definition of the body lines.
  2. It is awsome. C130s leak air and are rather cold but boy it was incredible. We did some very low level flying (wondering how to upload a video here).. Not joking when we where sub 1000ft. I could see in to people's lounges! Before the air to air refuelling, we did some low level flying and dropped some fake packages at specific sites allowing the crew on board to test and rehears real life supply drops. Some of the boxes left the platform when we were banked at +30 degree angles!
  3. So it took a while to find some photos that are suitable to be in the public domain.. However, as promised
  4. Sikaflex? https://www.screwfix.com/p/sika-sikaflex-ebt-all-weather-sealant-white-300ml/87344
  5. There is a 10m 145kg concord, There are 1/2 scale gliders (I think the biggest is something like 51ft wingspan). Yes I do wonder where the line is drawn, however I have for 4m gliders now and enjoy flying them.
  6. Flown in Voyager A330 refuelling tornadoes, euro fighters and C130s. I have also had the privilege to fly in a C130 that was refuelled by an A330 Voyager Will see if I can dig out a few C130 pictures
  7. Take it as a classic and see if anyone notices!
  8. Rear mounted turbos are well known, they run cooler, but being in that position puts them in a place more likely to corrode. Also it means boost pipes running the length of the car that increases complexity, weight and turbo lag
  9. Thank Rich, your not wrong! However it can be rather stressful and damanding but it has its occasional perks. Being Project Manager at Air to Air refuelling and supporting the RAF Voyager fleet (and others) is greatly rewarding to ensure our sky's are kept safe.
  10. A little insight in to the outputs of my work.
  11. Maybe broken hub or snapped suspension arm?
  12. Good old 'mericans. Just about enough braincells between them to rub togethet
  13. Photo from the top of the hill by Corfe Castle where I fly my gliders.. Second photo was the amazing ice structure on top of the car.
  14. Merry Christmas to you too :). The weather was rather incredible wasn't it. Especially compared to boxing day. Squirrel was having his nut roast on Christmas day.. My son at Bournemouth beach on boxing day
  15. Copper slip is not grease! Copper slip is for when you want to undo a bolt in the future!
  16. I think they mean... Measure the value and ensure its the same on both sides after adjustment. This would indicate that the chassis is true. If the value from left and right differ, then there may be a bend/ damage. However in first principle, its not written correctly
  17. Second the comment above... However it looks in pretty good condition. I'm going to guess its between 1 and 2 years old
  18. If that's a AC powered hub motor it certainly would work... However I would question for how long as dirt ingress would destroy the gearing very quickly.
  19. Recycled jeans... Why not. Not my style but better than throwing them once the knees are worn
  20. Looks like a boat mast being struck by lightning. Not uncommon and if that was a nice tall thing with nothing else around then it's more likely to get hit
  21. If the owner doesn't mind.. What was the issues the previous garage had introduced and what was going on? I would have thought something like a C class be fairly adjustable, but not rocket science
  22. Looks like he had a bit of fun off roading.... Damage to the front left side is rather noticeable
