  1. i know, coulld this be the cause of the tyre wear?
  2. same arm, different joint im no mechanic but i'd think theres a chance this could be the cause also, when driving at speed there's a slight virvration through the steering wheel, and the wheel is slightly to the right when driving in a straiight line
  3. just a quick question, could the drivers side front lower arm cause this? had a look and 1 of the balljoints/rubbers (whatever they are) is pretty much fecked, im gona nip out and take a few pics. back in a bit
  4. i would have expected them to atleast know what it is though yeah im from meg m8, mondeo_st24_v6 i tried to get admin there to change my username but there not having it
  5. FFS noone has a clue what im on about! do you need to take it somewhere special? ie an accident repair centre or summit? swear to god if 1 more person asks me what it is i'll go mental! "we can do wheel alignment" , very good, i asked if you do suspension geometry, i can get wheel alignment done at the end of my street!
  6. struggiling to find somewhere that does geometry, most can do 4 wheel laser alignment but not geometry, i'll give Ford "rapid fit" a call
  7. had a look a that link, very informative, if ever i had any tyre wear/wheel wooble problems etc i alway put it down to "tracking", that opened my eye's to a whole new world, im a bit more clued up now too
  8. so when i book it in i ask for a full geometry and not a 4 wheel alignment? just so i dont look a proper tool
  9. some pics, not very good though these are the 1 that were on the front and are now on the rear
  10. getting tyre wear on the left side of both front tyres. also the car creeps to the left when u let go of the wheel, thought it might be the tracking so i took it to get looked at, turns outs its spot on, the guy recommended 4 wheel alginment, he said it could even be power steering wear! never even heard of that! when the car was up he was looking around the back and noticed that 1 of the rear lower arms look slightly bent, he got me under to see and it does look a bit curved so im going to see if i can get the 4 wheel alignment checked, do you thing this might fix it? ps whats the difference between 4 wheel alignment and geometry? pps i did have a front end shunt earlier this year and my tyre wear seemed fine till then, but that could just be my imagination
