  1. Another Bug for you Tony sorry... Just tried buying 'just' geometry for an omega earlier than the dates listed in the drop down box... It says price TBC, carry on with you order and we will contact you, but as the total price is £0.00 there is no continue button to move on to the next stage. Advice please, id like to get booked in to Ellesmere Port asap. Cheers Jimbob
  2. Yes, no worries, still cheaper than driving to you. It would be handy if you had a post somewhere of a list of your stations that you kept uptodate.....would be handy to link to from other places £95+ vat is not to be sniffed at we all know that but if the owner has repetitive problems stuffing £200 worth of tyres in 5k then the solution by comparison is cheap. Last year we had over 300 applications to the network and only 23 survived out scrutineering, this year we have grown to 95 but not all are visible on the map because they have not had our "next step" training. I do now have a bullet on the wim/BB map displaying centres> http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/tyre-fitting-centres.php Cool, that will be handy to link to Thanks.... Please tell the internet world because this network is costing me a Lambo a week Its spreading. Ill provide feedback once ive been to a centre too. If I want some extra work doing too, is it best to book on here, then negotiate with them? I have some rear subframe bushes need installing 1st, but my health wont currently let me fit them, so want to get the centre to do em before the geometry.

  5. If you click "buy alignment" on the wim/BB web sites, then choose your car it will then take you to the map. Where on the site is this? or am I going blind/stupid or both! h Here is how you find the map> If you click "buy alignment" on the wim/BB web sites, then choose your car it will then take you to the map. The new centres are not on there yet. Good work Tony, one in Ellesmere Port now....Ill be trying that twice VERY soon
  6. Good work Tony, spread the word on Omega Owners for you http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1275034429 Will come in handy, Ive come from Chester to you a couple of times, but it will be good to have someone a little more local
  7. Cheers guys, you've done a great job on the Omega, handles much better, those tyres are a bit more grippy than the old ones as well See you next time James
  8. Cheers Tony, The reassurance is enough for me, I checked everything as well as I could as well and didnt spot them either. I couldnt take that offer up ( not that I reckon it would be needed). Fair play your service is above and beyond! I will definately pay you a visit again when the other car needs new boots. (soon, they aint wearing brilliantly )
  9. No pulling left? Seems fine. Believe it or not, just failed its mot on a broken rear spring! Swapped the pair, and it still handles beautifully so don't think i've undone your handywork. ps nice photo's Wonder if we missed the spring or it broke since?..... In truth odds are due to the time elapsed we missed it but i'm surprised if we did since we were reasonably surgical at the meet. Passenger side was missing the bottom coil, had I reckon it had been for a year or so by the state of it. Hopefully hasnt caused any adverse effects.

  11. Mine wasnt picked to be checked, but no matter as I had already booked in the next day. Even still Tony chucked it on the ramp and checked it out, so I had time to buy parts for my appointment, luckily not needed. Car a totally different beast since the magic was worked
  12. Cheers to Tony, Mark & the rest of the crew After a great Club day on Sunday, I was back today (Monday) for 4 new boots and geometry. On Sunday I spotted the aircon machine as well, and it was a hot day...... Tony did an expert job on sorting out the geometry. Full set of new Conti sport 3's & an aircon recharge for good measure. Well, had a cracking 200 mile drive home, really had a good play, holds the road beautifully, Doesnt pull at all on the flat (until slightly under braking, but think we can live with that for the mo) Aircon was very cold, 500g's out, 950 in made a huge difference, from driving down at max cooling, set at 20c on the way home was comfortable. My wife has just come back from taking it for a spin in the lanes, and is very impressed and sends her thanks. Be seeing you again soon for my car (soon as it is due tyres) i'm sure. Great setup you have there, and well worth the trip. Very friendly place, was nice to chat to your other customer from the lexus owners as well.
  13. Blimey my body clock is a month out of sync..... Anyway we had the meet today, 20 cars turned up and i measured 12..... now the scary bit? Of the 12, 10 where not in a suitable condition to be calibrated ... 9 needed new front wishbones and 1 needs a new rear coil. Everyone was gobsmacked by the failure rate..... Nevertheless it was a fantastic meet and everyone enjoyed themselves... Pictures to follow once i steal them from the owners club?....... My camera broke What an excellent day, and thanks to Tony and Mark, and the rest of the WIM team for allowing this to happen. The bush failure rate was shocking, I couldn't believe it - and I know they are a weak point of the suspension on these cars. But, it means all those people who were driving around blissfully unaware - despite many recently having new MOTs - are now doing something about it, before getting big bills for new boots. So from that point of view, even looking at the 'broken' ones has made it very worthwhile. Also, watching the alignment screens on cars with failed bushes, and seeing how much the play in the bushes affected the various angles was very worthwhile in helping understand the issues with wear and handling. It was a fun day, thoroughly worthwhile, very informative. I cannot thank WIM enough for sharing the info, and physically showing us all about the geometry. I'm sure the photos will show how interested everyone was. If any other clubs get the opportunity for one of these days, I really cannot recommend it enough - as well as it being a club meet, you will find it informative, useful, and bloody good fun. Do not let the opportunity pass by! BTW, photos on a CD, and should be with you by the time you read this. Thanks again, WIM, it was an excellent day, and going by the posts on our forum, everybody thoroughly enjoyed it. Even if there now is going to be a world shortage of Vauxhall wishbone bushes ! Cheers all again, thanks again for today as well, see my other post for details
