No, I wish it was a hoax.
The car was booked in the day before, when I assume he had wired it together. When he arrived, he commented that it had just "gone again", by which I think he meant that the wire had snapped.


The car was an Astra

I assume you repaired it or did he want a new bit of wire, should of wrapped some around his undercarriage and pulled him down the rd and asked him how it felt?

We could not match the gauge of wire to effect a repair, so we had no alternative than to fit a new wishbone!

You thought he would have used a coat hanger to repair it, rather than a bit of electric wire

Words cannot be found to express how despicable this car was!!.... I think this is number 1 " horror of the week"....

Whats more concerning is the fact your wife/GF/child or member of famiiy could of been in that cab.
