piss poor there wasn't any catch fencing on that bend.... Methinks someone has a lot to answer for!

You'd of thought at some stage when they was walking round the course before practise was allowed someone would of spotted the bare iron girders with no padding around them.

Such a waste of life and so unnecessary.

Apparently the canadians were letting their own countrymen down for practise runs before the official openeing but they didn't allow the europeans as they knew it was a fast course and those euros that did manage a couple of runs crashed before getting to the bottom everytime, the guy that died told his dad the day before that he was worried about the speed at which you enter the corner where his life was so tragically taken.

It's still out there on the net....

Said "don't like don't look"...... I'm as interested as the next man to know what happened, although i'm not interested in any blood or gore.

I don't have a problem with looking but WIM is suppose to be a family/respectable forum. I just don't think a video like that needs posting on here, especially on an open part of the forum....but it's been removed now anyway.
