Below is one of the £200 front tyres from an high end Jaguar. According to the dealer who has measured the chassis everything is within spec and that's just the way the front tyres wear.....

The chassis is fully adjustable so i ponder why the technician doesn't have the intelligence so simply "tune" the angles if only to compensate for the wear......

Seemingly it's normal to have 5.29mm of remaining tread on the rest of the tyre...... Remember a new tyre only has 8mm

I'm measuring the chassis on Wednesday...... we will see wink.gif

Lol, that sounds just as bad as on the IS200 (if not possibly worse), the owner couldn't have been best pleased with that conclusion!

Quite the opposite, he just came in for the tyres and had excepted what the dealer had said..... Consider him re-educated smile_anim.gif

Could it be various suspension and wheel options but the same chassis setup?

That's pretty shocking! ohmy.gif

When you measure the depth of the tyre is that to the wear indicator or where the tread starts?
