Tony
It's been said i don't give enough notice so....... We have a Ferrari meet in January 09 with a currently confirmed 20 cars... Lotus owners club may also attend so expect some sparks smile.gif
E55EX_RACER
I will be there...can't miss this! thumbsup_anim.gif
Tony
The event will be advertised in all the necessary papers so the local community is invited as we will have a few million pounds worth of cars at the centre at one time..... The F430 as seen in "joy of Geometry" alone is worth 500k and leads the pack.
CIH
If I were to come I'd have to park the S12 round the back and walk the rest of the way wub.gif

Do the sports car dudes mind the "natives" knocking about ? Or have does Herts have nicer people than Manchester ?

Sounds good, hopefully it will be busy then...how about asking a mag to come along, I'm sure they'd be interested with that many Ferrari's in one place?

I did the same mate, thought to meself hang on that's a Friday and then it hit me! laugh.gif
Tony
They are looking for a Saturday date in Jan...... In truth there's non of this "your beneath us stuff", most of the owners have just managed to buy their dream car and they are just like you and me.
E55EX_RACER
Isn't Saturday your busiest day, so what if customers turn up will you still be working?

Must take some saving to buy your dream car! laugh.gif I'd imagine servicing and insuring a Ferrari costs a small fortune.

Yep Saturday is quite a loss if i devote this to the club..... But there's some good publicity to be had locally and nationally so i'm not to troubled.

As for the service costs........ I'll let you know in about 50yrs laugh.gif
E55EX_RACER
If you can get some national mags it would be brilliant publicity.

Think I read in a magazine a while ago that the average service is a good few grand!

I don't have contacts in the Italian mags but the owners club is the biggest in the uk and they will cover the meet.... where the images go from there who knows...... As for actual servicing, i'm not interested in that.

Is this still on? Seems awfully quiet with nobody mentioning it even though it's less then a week away.

Initially that was the plan but on reflection this could invite the wrong sort of guests if you know what i mean.
E55EX_RACER
Are you doing geo's on any of these Ferrari's as well?
Tony
Some numbers....

There will a selection of 20 different Ferrari's and a selection of other top marques on site.....

The meets theme is all Italian, from the history of Ferrari on the 52" tv to the food and even Italian ice cream from a specialist in the art?

There is a raffle topped with a £200 prize off any tyres smile.gif also seemingly there will be some scantily clad young lady's passing around the Italian wine/ champagne thumbsup_anim.gif .... Drivers please be wise!!

No actual adjustments will be made on the day due to time constraints, this is a Ferrari Geometry health check meet smile.gif
