He shouldn't have carried on past the lights even though the barriers hadn't lowered and after they had lowered he should have forced through them. No excuse but 11 seconds from the barriers fully lowered to the train passing is bad. Don;t know what ours are (even though I live near one) but it has to be at least a minute or two as it seems like a lifetime to me!! Gives plenty of time for idiots who muck up.
