adam_r
Been in similar situations myself as a child. I remember our neighbourhood covering the cars with white foam (like Styrofoam) to stop the hail ruining the car. I cannot remember the location but i do remember seeing hailstones the size of an adults fist (marginally smaller than a tennis ball)
Rich
Must be pretty scary having hail of that size coming down!
Tango
I was in Austin, Texas visiting a Company when the weather started throwing down golf ball sized hailstones. After the storm finished and it was safe to go outside we found all the vehicles, including the managers new truck and my hire car looked like they'd been worked over with a ball pein hammer

Tony
Are they insured for hail damage or is it like over here and deemed an act of god.
